As the incredible Instructor at STEAM for Vietnam

You will be expected to work on weekends with the increased workload during peak times. You have the opportunity to join a high quality team of world-class Vietnamese educators dedicated to introducing students to STEAM education. The best candidate will have the right blend of teaching experience, expertise in the art field, and passion for delivering STEAM education to Vietnamese youth.

What you’ll do
  • Propose and build curriculum, then prepare lesson plans based on provided curriculum & materials.
  • Instruct Arts course online (via Zoom and Youtube live stream) with technical support from STEAM for Vietnam.
  • Give feedback about the class after each lesson.
  • Collaborate with the team to design, develop and improve existing curriculum & materials (record video, quiz, additional readings, etc.).
  • Participate in training sessions on methods, techniques and content of the course. You will work with a team including teaching assistants, other teachers, designers, etc to prepare and deliver your lesson.
Required Qualifications
  • Have at least one year of experience in instructing fine arts and crafts for children from the age of  6.
  • Enjoy teaching and working with children.
  • Expertise in art, design and architecture.
  • Have the ability to draw and compose quickly, then visualize with different materials such as markers, water color, pencils, etc.
  • Have proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with programs to prepare lessons and organize classroom activities.
  • Open-minded, flexible, agile, creative to solve problems arising during class.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Have pedagogical skills, especially in engaging and creative teaching.
  • Fluency in basic English (reading and writing).
